FREE SEMINAR
ANXIETY IN THE
FAMILY HOME

Northwest Community Childcare is excited to bring an incredible opportunity to our OSHC community. At our 'Anxiety in the Family Home' seminar on Wednesday the 19th of June 2024, you can learn more about developing resilience in your children.

We will hear from Clinical Psychologist, Colleen Hirst, who will discuss tips and strategies for understanding anxiety and how to effectively manage it in a family setting.

This seminar is completely FREE, however, a gold coin donation box will be available at the event to support the Children's Cancer Institute, should you wish to contribute.

We are currently only seeking expressions of interest HERE in attending this event and formal bookings will be available from the 1st of May. Please refer to the promotional poster in the button below for further details.

Crew Youth

Rouse Hill Baptist Church and NewHope Church partner together for Youth Ministry on Friday evenings. The Crew Youth Ministry meets in two separate age programs:

  • Students in years 3-6 meet between 6:00-7:30pm

  • Students in years 7-10 meet between 8:00-9:30pm

Both programs meet at Rouse Hill Baptist Church, 320 Annangrove Rd, Rouse Hill.

The Crew is all about championing the next generations in their life and faith in Jesus. It’s a great opportunity for young people to come together and end of their school week in the most positive way.

Contact the Rouse Hill Baptist Church office on office@rhbc.com.au for term dates and more information about The Crew.

Mainly Music is a structured music session for you and your pre-school aged child or younger to participate in together.

During the session, your child will be learning and developing; participating in the music, expressing their imagination, finding enjoyment in the educational moments, laughing at the puppets and participating in group activities. Your little one will enjoy this sensory event. Key will be your experience of attachment, the lasting emotional bond a child forms with a specific person that provides safety, comfort, soothing and pleasure.

Rouse Hill Baptist Church runs a Mainly Music session on Fridays at 10am during school terms.

Being a not-for-profit business, we love to give back to our community through various avenues. We regularly donate to the schools in which we operate for families who may not be able to afford a school uniform, or lunches that can be provided by the canteen.

Northwest Community Ministries also donates to the annual Year 6 Fundraising efforts at the end of the year, to support them as they contribute and thank their school community.

During the floods that devastated the Hawkesbury region in 2021 and 2022, Northwest Community Ministries donated funds to 'Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands' towards helping the community get back on their feet and repair the damages.

Hawkesbury’s Helping Hands is a not-for-profit organisation that supports those experiencing homelessness or are at risk of homelessness.

They accept monetary donations, non-perishable items and toiletries all year round.
