Did you know that the My Family Lounge app is integrated with our Qikkids software and QK Enrol?
This allows all of our services to easily provide our parents the ability to make casual bookings and mark absent days straight from their mobile phone anywhere, anytime!
Marking your child absent via the app ensures that you are not charged any non-notification fees and our staff won’t need to follow up with you.
You will have access to a calendar menu, where you are able to mark your child absent in just a few simple clicks. The App is free and available on both Apple and Android devices.

Marking your child as absent
Important to Note: Please ensure you mark your child absent by 2PM the same day if they are booked into after school care.
Marking your child absent can only be done through the app version of My Family Lounge.
Step 1 – Click the My Family Lounge app and log in
Step 2 – Click on Bookings
Step 3 – Select Main Service (This applies if your child attends more than one service)
Then ‘Select Room’
E.g. After School Care or Before School Care
Step 4 – Click on your child’s permanent booking day (blue)
Step 5 – Check the details of the day* and click on “Mark Absent”
Step 6 – A pop-up will display advising the day has been successfully marked as absent. Click OK
Step 7 – There is no confirmation but the selected day will change from permant booking (blue) to absent (orange) if you have done this correctly.
We will receive a notification of this absence. No further communication is required.
*If your child is absent for an extended period of time, you will need to select each day and mark them individually.
Booking in an extra day
Step 1- Click on Bookings
Step 2 – Select the Room
E.g. After School Care or Before School Care
Step 3 – Click on an available day (green) on the calendar
Step 4 – Check the details of the casual day and read the Terms and Conditions and Click “Create Booking”
Step 5 – A pop-up will display advising the Booking has been successfully created. Press OK
Step 6 – The selected day will change from available (green) to casual (purple)
We will receive a notification of this booking.
